Den. Enobi Purple 'Splash'
Just be VERY VERY sure the plant has bloomed and is really the splash type. These do not all come true.
If you don't see a picture and it is not THE plant you are bidding on, be very cautious.

Yes, Lupita, after I read your post I looked it up on eBay. It appears to be what it claims to be. That is why I advised you to be sure to see a picture of the actual plant you were bidding on. Some that have the name 'Splash' are almost all purple and probably not what you are looking for.
I hope you get your plant.

Hi. I was able to communicate via email with the eBay seller. The seller sent me several photos of the plants (they have two out for bid) with the flowers on them. I'm convinced that the winning bidders will be very happy with their splashed petal Enobi's.

Glad you received the photo's for verification! I had contacted the seller and they were supposed to send me picks the other day but I never received them. But the seller said the plants are in bloom and the plants shown in the pictures are in bloom and is what is being offered so I figured it was good enough.

Hi
You are very nice, would be a good idea to let the seller know you did not receive the pictures. He/She may not know that.
Good Luck.

I just can't believe I missed this thread, this has got to be the most drop dead gorgeous Den I've ever seen!!
Hawaiian Sunshine, your photo is just jaw dropping. Can't believe that it had even more blooms in your award photo. Looking forward to seeing that one, whenever you have it.
Now for the quest to attempt to locate one of these here!

Well, I am supposed to be picking mine up from an orchid show in Edmonton next weekend
Ching Hua Orchids from Taiwan is bringing it and I bet they will have more for sale in their booth. They say they guarantee the splash on the petals. It likely isn't bloom time for them so that's all I can probably go on. I hope I get it (can't see why I won't this time). I have tried to get one several times before but my attempts always came up empty so here's hoping!!!
