It doesn't need to get very cold. 12-15 C should do it. Plants will drop their lower leaves first. Sometimes the top leaves may remain. If it gets colder, the top leaves will also drop. Flowers should last for a month easily.

Provide moisture when plants are in bloom (for the sake of the flowers. But the plants themselves aren't actively growing. Bright light in the winter. Shady in the heat of summer. Try to keep temps below 30 C, 28 in summer, if possible.

The flowers of this species have a musty sweet smell. I like it, others don't. However, in the hybrids, such as first generation Den Lime Frost & 2nd generation Den Frosty Dawn, the fragrance is very clean & sweet. These hybrids don't need it lower than 18-20 C to bloom. They will drop some of the lowest leaves if temps go below 10-12 C.

That website, in my opinion, isn't always terribly accurate either (although it's a decent starting point when beginning to do research). If you want to take a more scientific approach try Orchid Culture -- Charles and Margaret Baker. You will have to pay a minimal charge for the information on each species you want to review ($1 USD per cultural sheet), but there's lots of useful information there--and this species is one that available.
