Thanks for the information.
I have had one from last summer & did not give it the 'cold blast' this winter. Willl definitely try this winter. My plant has doubled in size & is growing very compact @ the moment.
Thanks Nenella!
Try the cold blast and good luck, the compact growth is a very good sign: I think it means enough light and right watering

oooh Rosie, it's a very strong plant, but the roots are a bit thin so they might be damaged... good luck!
If I were in you I wouldn't remove the only keiki it has and I would let the keiki grow with the mother plant.
Anyway, if you want to have two plants sure you can
I mounted 6 keikis because during the repot they were so many that the pot would be too crowded.

I wonder if yours is only one plant or multiple keikis. How big was it when you got it?

Also wonder what is your humidity like. I remember Sardinia being very windy and dry! And little rain as well, but very strong sun [used to get more sunburn on beaches in Sardinia than in mainland Italy].

Anyway, looks great!
Ciao Stefano!
Mine is a quite big plant with keikis, I'm not able to distinguish keikis from the mother plant...
When I got it, two years ago, it already was quite big: have a look at THIS photo

RH in Cagliari is extremely high: it's a seaside city and the average RH is about 60%. During the summer it often reaches 80/85%. Orchids feel good, humans suffer
Summer sunlight is extremely heavy, as I've already said this Den. took lots of sunlight last summer and this could be a trigger
