First dendrobium
Hi, i just got my first dendrobium at a garden center. Its a noid. I thought it had a tag, but when i got home it wasnt there. i got it for half price because it didnt have any blooms. it does have a lot of what look like spikes. it has tree big ones and two tiny ones. and new roots. the pot looks like it needs to be bigger. it is very top heavy, and the biggest cane is like 14 inches.
can anyone tell me the culture for it its my first den. so i dont know what to do. please help.
i dont know why, but i can only put up one picture at a time

Nice! In my experience, Dens like to be rootbound, so combined with the tall canes many get they do tend to be quite top heavy. I don't have much experience with this type of Den - but have found in general that Dens don't like their roots messed with, so if yours has spikes I would definitely try to wait til after blooming to repot.
When you do repot, just go to a slightly larger pot.
I'm sure others with more experience will chime in.
Nice find!
