the dens are loving the early spring and getting outside and rained on again.

In fact the first keiki of the year is going to be a sweet new plant in no time.

Wow, that keiki is really going some. What a mass or roots and it looks really fat. Do you know when you think you will remove it yet?

Most likely in the fall ...I like to leave them as long as possible and the cane it is growing on has a new cane coming off it also.But I will wait art least a couple of months yet.They do well in this spot and get lots of natural rain ane its under a cypress tree and also gets natural fert just as if it was in the wild so I leave them as long as they are happy.Usually this is Untill about the time the cane starts to shrivel and die.Being a evergreen type and blooming at the end of the cane it is done now as far as anything else goes.

Nice! my kingi has keikis up the wazoo, tho most are still quite small ...

Well I get just a couple of bragging rights on this one it is only 2 months old but it is exploding in size LOl got to giv ethe cypress tree its due though if it was not for its shelter and little microclimate this would not be happening.....
