Yes its best not to have them too warm. Some species will more easily rot in temps too hot (over 25-30C) but air movement definitely helps.
Hybrids can tolerate a wider range of temperatures though. And Phrag longifolium is one of those species used in the hybrids to give that vigor, unfortunately longifolium makes their leaves big. When besseae hybrids are grown warm their red colours tend to be more faded.
Phrag jason fischer and Phrag memoria dick clements are red phrags that can tolerate warmer conditions. Their blooms are still red even when it is hot.

How about amount of light for Phrags? I don't have a lot so I'll have to set up a flourescent system.
