Repotting Dendrobium
Hi all. I just repotted my dendrobium NOID. It has a new lead with new roots starting to grow. The new lead was growing outside the pot so I repotted to give it more room.
I used only coco chunks, and pine bark. Is this ok? I forgot to add charcoal, should I repot again and add this? I knew I was forgetting something.

I don't think it'll be a problem, Tin.

It depends on your growing conditions, so no one knows better than you. For example, I avoid coco chunks because they get molded overnight. ![Sad](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Yap Like Shadow already said, It does depend on ur conditions. As long as you didn't overpot, The mixture should be fine.
Tin, What did you have it in before? ![Scratchhead](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/scratchhead.gif)

charcoal isn't a essential. I think you will be ok, as long as your growing conditions are correct. Watch out when the mix decays

It was on a chunk of something. In fact I just took that chunk and broke it up into lots of smaller pieces. So its not really coco husk, just kinda looks like it. Sorry, I just didn't want to say I used a mixture of something that looks like coco husk and pine bark.
At least it drains really well now!
