I got this wonderful orchid from Royal last fall, so this is the first time I've seen it bloom. It looks to be a little peloric, but it may just be a characteristic of this variation, I'm not sure....but it is beautiful.

It's gorgeous. I see what you mean about the peloric from the dark on the petals. Not sure if that's what it is, but it looks gorgeous for it.

That's awesome! I'm kind of embarrassed to say that I have yet to bloom mine. I just can't grow it well enough. It's still alive and kicking, but no blooms. I gave it the silent treatment this winter thinking that it just needed some abuse and it did a little better.

C'mon, You can do it!!
Mine is getting medium light, but it did get a dry winter. The 'chids got a little neglected this winter, and had to live off their own body fat a little bit. I guess it's a good thing I fattened them up all summer. So maybe the rest is what did it.

Oh, mine got a rest too. Actually, it got flat out ignored. My culture has gotten better, but still needs improvement.
