Default Dendrobium "Aussie Chip"

Den. "Aussie Chip" is Den. aberrans x atroviolaceum 'Pygmy.' It's growing in a 4" teak basket. I should have photographed this a month ago when it looked like a small shrub of flowers, but I got lazy. The outsides of the flowers are spotted, and more interesting than the insides! Nice sweet scent during daylight hours.

Thanks, Laura! It languished for a while, not doing much of anything, then took off last year, almost doubling in size. It's in lava rock, sphag, and chc. I cut some plastic screening to fit the inside of the basket to keep the medium in.

I might just give that a try and see if it snaps mine out if it's funk!
Thanks.

This is one of my favorite primary hybrids. The scent is soooo nice and the flowers last so long!

Wow...Yours looks much different than mine. I haven't noticed any fragrance either. I didn't really check until just now though. My flowers are white though with the same type of spotting...any thoughts? Is this just a difference from one seed grown plant to another?
