Very cool! It looks like your plant is all bundled up for winter!

Hi Gin,
This is a beautiful little guy!

I almost got one at the Redlands Festival last year, but I passed on it. After seeing yours in bloom, I may have to rethink that decision.

Thanks for posting your photos! David

I really love this specie ! Both the plant and, of course, flowers.
Mine doesn't seem to be ready to bloom....
Good job Gin !

I had it hanging on a wire grid over the glass in the greenhouse, the plastic blew off the glass on the outside , the condensed moisture on the inside of the glass froze right behind the plant . Guess it likes bright some direct if there is any not much water and no Fert. starting in the fall till budded --and cold --- that probably won't happen again . Thanks for the kind words .. Gin

Gin, that is such a cute little den. Nice growing. Looks like it has a fur coat on for the winter. Should have one living here in South Florida...it would be right at home (37 tonight, 41 last night ) . Is it fragrant & do you think this guy would do well in a a warm climate most of the time??

I think it would Lorraine if you can give it the fall/winter rest and cool down I am not sure which did the trick as I did mist it off and on to keep it from shirivling up , it dropped some of the leaves but not all of them probably because I misted it . Information I dug up on it was conflicting . Give it a try won't know unless you do . Gin
