[QUOTE=justatypn;26353 My son told me while we were gone for a few days this aggregatum was being bossy to the other orchids and had to move it for a time out..."that's why it's bloomin' mom". It had to spread it's wings...[/QUOTE]

Very interesting method. I'm going to question my orchids to identify the bossy one

Ahhh, so you are back from your vacation?? Cool!! And now you see beautiful blooms. For some reason, plants like to put on their displays when we are gone. You'de think they were shy or something.

Wow! I am impressed it bloomed so well indoors. I had to put mine outside in pretty high light to get it to bloom! If you like the blooms on aggregatum you might want to look into chrysotoxum if you do not have one already. I LOVE the honey sweet smell and bright yellow flowers.

I don't have one of those chrysotoxum but looks like it will definitely take tops on the list of "my next buy's"

Smile V.C.O.S. Show

Just a reminder that the Volusa County Orchid Society show is at the Volusia County fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday Mother's Day weekend. You would get on I 4 and go east and exit on to the state road 44 exit. I also thought I would let you know I tried to bid on a Normans Bay Low on E-bay and was outbid. It went for 160.00! So if you see one under 100.00 at a show if you really want one I would get it if I were you. I just added another species cat to my collection. Cattleya Rex! I am so excited! Take care, Lyn
