Dendrobium unicum - winter rest question

Just wondering if anyone else's Dendrobium unicum is coming out out of hibernation yet? Mine doesn't seem to be showing any signs of life whatsoever after a three-month winter rest, while my other Dendrobium species are throwing out new shoots. Two of the canes have a slight yellowish cast to them, and all the canes are pretty shriveled. I know this plant can appear like it's dead, but I'm thinking it might actually be.

Mine is in bud right now and will be blooming in a week or so.

in nature , even in time's of drought the plants still get a good amount of dew and humidity, about every 10 day's or so I give my dry rest plant's a quick hello with heavy mist, in rest they need good light and humidity...good luck...Kitty

I have a Princess x unicum.

After 2 or 3 months of dry rest with just an occasional spritz of water, I started the below regimen.

I've been misting mine about every 2 weeks and then when the buds started popping out on the canes, I gave it a good water with some really weak fertilizer.

Now it is going insane with buds. I counted over 50 yesterday. I can't wait for them to bloom.

I think you shoudn't worry too much. Mine is exactly at the same point than yours : absolutely nothing appears, could think it is dead (but on many of my other Dendro, new groths appear). But unless the cane is completely dry, the pant is not dead. In Thailand this plant blooms from february to .... May ! So don't worry too much.
