You're welcome, Pamela! I'm learning a lot about how to grow these beautiful plants and I'm happy to help others along the way as well. If you want to delve further I highly recommend the books Dendrobium and its Relatives by Lavarack et al and Orchid Species Culture: Dendrobium by Charles and Margaret Baker, who authored the culture/habitat sheet I pointed you to in my earlier post. The Howard Wood book on the genus Dendrobium is also an excellent reference, though a bit more of an investment in both money and time (but very readable). Have fun!

Asheville is a very beautiful place and I love the community I have here. My wife and I are trying to get into grad school elsewhere and I have pretty mixed feelings about leaving, but maybe we'll come back some day...
