Dendrobium sulcatum

First time blooming for me, got it this summer at orchid soc meeting.
pretty much neglected it. grown in windowsill. Mix of coco chips and some aquarium gravel and hydroton, but mostly coconut.

Read that should bloom in the late spring. why is it blooming early? Maybe heating in my bedroom.
Anyone has one of these? How long do the blooms last?
