This should be used more in the Latouria breeding going on over at H&R. atroviolacuem x shiraishii would be phenomenal.

Den shiraishii is a relatively new species, discovered in New Guinea within the last 15-20 years. We got some small artificially propagated seedlings and grew them up and now have our own breeding plants. Den shiraishii is already in the mix of the various latouria dens we use for breeding.

Little too cold for me up there at the North Pole.
We had about 62 last week ... sometimes we even get down to 50 degrees. I believe you get down a wee bit colder than that.

Every time I see a post by one of you Alberta dwellers, I'm amazed how you can grow & bloom orchids. This will be my third trip up there.
