Den. Polar Fire

I got a really big surprise when this one started to bloom.
I thought i bought a purplish pink flowering dendrobium, but it turned out to be a polar fire

My polar fire has flowered a very different colour this year to last year. Last year it looked more like yours, this year the petals & lip are pink and sepals are white.

Did you see yours flower when you bought it... it's quite possible that like mine it's changed colour due to conditions (although I don't know which conditions make it change).

No it has not change colour, cos the person i bought this from, had both the purplish pink AND a Polar Fire for auction here in Sweden...so i guess she mixed them up somehow
But i have no problem with it, i love looking at a Polar Fire too

Well it's a gorgeous Den even if it's not what you expected. I love the pink and white combo of Polar Fire.
