I hope your order with Crystal Star Orchids is successful. As I mentioned earlier, get a flowering plant if you can otherwise the odds are good that you will be getting a plant with lavender flowers with no splash. By the way, the 'Splash' continues to win trophies at Shows here in Hawaii. Those who have this plant are growing them bigger with a lot more flowers each year. I hope to grow mine into a specimen plant. It will take a while though.

For $15.00 I certainly did order a flowering size one. But it's rather unclear if he still now has to order them from Taiwan or what. So I won't breathe easy till I actually have it or see it in bloom. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Well, I have to report, my order with Crystal Star Orchids didn't produce a Den. Enobi Purple Splash

He was able to order a bunch of Paphs in from another country, but didn't have enough requests for plants from the place in Taiwan where the Enobi Purple was to be ordered from. Then he said he was going to Taiwan in Aug. and would try to bring it back, but wasn't able to do so for some reason. So, if anyone hears of one available in Canada, I would be happy to know. Otherwise, Eric from Crystal Star says they may get them in the spring. The trials and tribulations of collecting orchids, sigh.
