Default Dendrobium Karen

So I went shopping to get pots for some orchids and came home with more orchids (as well)!

Here are the others of the others...
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ce-needed.html
Miltoniopsis Maui Charm

but this one is a Dendrobium Karen (probably a trade name).

There are two spikes mostly of buds coming out of a really fat cane. There are 2 short canes which have obviously already flowered, 2 or 3 tiny old canes... and one new cane still growing.

It took a lot of fiddling with the camera settings to get the true colour, but this is pretty acurate.

Here are the canes. You can see the new cane on the left of the first pic if you look closely (click on any of my pics to get a bigger version). The second pic shows just how fat the main cane is.

They also has some in a darker colour which at the time I liked even more, but I picked this one because it was by far the healthiest and largest plant there.

I'm really pleased I picked this one. When I see it at home it looks so vibrant in colour and I love it.
