Hi everyone. I need to remove a couple of keikis from one of my dendrobiums and have never done it before. My plan was to cut the growth they are attached to just above them and pot them. The roots are over three inches long. All suggestions welcome with open arms.

You should cut them off right where they are attached to the mother plant with a sterile blade. After that you can dust the cuts with cinnamon. I would wait a couple of days before you pot it to give it a chance to form a callus over the cut. Which will help cut down on infections.
