PS How do you mark yours that need a winter rest........a certain color tag? or do you just remember?
Every year I say I am going to use a system and never did...until now

This year I am going to put a bright pink zip-tie on the plant labels as they go over to the rest area from Halloween to Valentine's Day (I use that as a general time guide)

Thanks for all the input when I posted about this in October. I have tried to note and follow the differing needs for water you all recommended.

So here is my follow-up questions:
--Can I assume that any denbrobiums that lost their leaves in the last several months are the ones that I should stop watering for the winter rest?
--several of the dendrobiums, specifically the den nobile spring bride and several that have lost their tags, they lost the leaves they had and now they have at least one but on several plants many new green shoots. Or, in the case of another, it has both new shoots and new leaves on the ends of old canes. I am supposed to continue to NOT WATER these until spring? It just seems a little counter-intuitive.
Thanks, Susan
