At one time I was using colored stickers on the pots to indicate which needed watering, no watering, etc. Red was for no watering at all, orange was for those needing a drier rest but not completely waterless, and green was for keeping the plant moist. After a few years of doing this, I know which plants require what and don't really need to rely on the stickers. Although I do have many dens, I have to look up the requirements for those that are more unfamiliar to me, like Den oreodoxa or daintenense. I can usually keep it in my memory.
