So, I bought this one last year and looked up the photo and was thrilled that it had dark purplish/pink curly petaled flowers...and I anxiously awaited the arrival of them...Finally the spikes started and the buds formed and I kept wondering why they didn't darken up any, as they stayed a yellowish color as they matured!...Lo and behole they finally opened and ...they are yellow and maroon!
I quickly ran in and looked up the plant again...ony to discover that there are multiple color variations
Silly me...
The first photo shows the way that the flowers look when they first open and then a few days later they all start twisting!
