Intermediate temperature but cooler(not by choice) during winter months, high humudity, medium light(~2000FC) and medium air movement(NOT strong). My plant is on stick mount and I water it every other day or sometimes daily.
I have had it for almost two year and this is the first and only flower.

Beautiful bloom!! I bought mine last November and ,while I have new growth, it has never bloomed. It is only five or six inches tall, do you know what is considered a mature,BS plant? How big is yours? Your one bloom is awesome!! What do you have it potted in? A friend recommended a blend of sphagnum and shredded coconut husk. Sound good??

mspatt, your plant is about NBS but it can bloom at that size.
My plant is on stick mount and I've never tried to grow this species in pot, so I don't know what that blend of potting mix will do for you. The grower who I bought this plant from told me not to pot up this species, but I have seen two good French growers show their gorgeous plants in pot. I don't know what they used for potting though, maybe just normal bark mix.
