Default Dendrobium Burana Green

Just one bloom on my Burana Green Star (3rd pic). Don't know what happened? I expect more spiking but, still...never had just one bloom on a spike.

And, my Burana Green is behaving. This one usually spikes a couple of times during summer. This is it's first show.

Thanks for looking!

Both are lovely, Sandy. Nice growing! I have a baby
Burana Green X compactum so am very curious/anxious to see how it will turn out. Your photos are very encouraging.

Hi Sandy,

Great Blooms! I have a Noid Den. who's bloom strikingly resembles your Burana Green. Mine is scented during the first part of the day. It smells lovely. Is your's scented?

June

I'm sorry Sandy I meant the Green Star looks like mine. When mine bloomed last year there were only 4 flowers and they looked distorted and were unscented to the best of my knowledge. This year she produced 2 spikes. One got broken early on but the survivor produced a gorgeous spray and it was about a week after they opened that I noticed the fragrance. The perfume was more intense when the petals were kissed by sunlight. There's a photo of her in my gallery.
