Hi Rosie - my flowers are slightly different...you are right, these flowers are very long-lasting - not typical of most Dendrobium species. All the better!

Hi Pheli - I was curious, so looked up revolutum. Jay Pfahl's site has several flowers for comparison; I would be very hard-pressed to tell one from another. IOSPE PHOTOS
The flowers of these species look very, very similar.
Being far from expert, I must simply believe the ID that comes with the plants.
These species must be very closely allied.

It seems that mine is not Dend. uniflorum.
Though these species are common here in Taiwan, they are usually no ID or mislabelled.
Anyway, they are all lovely and worth growing.
I completely agree - that applies to most of the heat-tolerant dendrobium species; very variable, interesting and beautiful (even the oddballs).
