Cute little Den bigibbum hybrid
This orchid is a replacement for the one I nearly killed a few months back, which is still in ICU. It's my favorite orchid, so I had to get another one! According to the grower's website it's called Dendrobium 'borneo', which pretty much means Noid. I am fairly certain that there is quite a bit of Den bigibbum (probably var compactum) in it. It's a small plant, the tallest cane is only 13cm. I had so much trouble with the photos, white blooms against a black background is very hard to get right!

It's beautiful, I can understand why it's a favorite! You did a nice job with the pictures.

What a stunning bloom from a small plant. I wish I could get one right now.

It's lovely, Camille! I remember you posting photos of your original plant and loving it, especially since it's almost a mini. Given its noid status tho, I don't suspect I'll ever find one to add to my collection. It is a real beauty! Glad you were able to get a second one.

Camille, it looks a lot like Den. dicuphum. Google dicuphum and have a look.
I hope I am right because I was given a couple of dicuphum keikis and I would love to grow flowers like yours.

I just looked up pics, and you're right, it does look very much like mine! I don't know if big growers would be selling species though, mine might still be a hybrid. I have tried several times without success to contact the company it comes from, but they never respond to email.
