Your lack of success in contacting the 'mass production' grower seems like par for the course.
I have had similar results.

Wow Camille! That's a beauty! I can see why it's your favorite. It's so floriforous too! How many flowers is that spike carrying?

Beautiful flowers and photos. Where do you take your pics on the black background? They turned out great. I hoping to take some pics of some of mine but trying to find the best setting.

Camille, that first photo is just beautiful. You did a great job taking the pictures. I love the colors.

I set up everything next to a bright window (but no direct sun) because I haven't found a source of artificial light which gives as nice results as natural light. I have a large piece of velvety black cloth that I drape on a big box right behind the plant. I had trouble with the pics because the white was coming out way too overexposed, the blooms were just bright white blobs. So what I did was to hold a white paper behind the plant, press the shutter halfway to 'lock' the exposure then remove the paper and take the pic. It's a trick i found on OB. And all of this is done with an average point and shoot, no fancy equipment!

Thank you so much. Looks like I'm going to have to go pick up some black velvety material :-) Again, the flowers and pics are just beautiful.

Stunning! Not only the flowers and the plant, but also the way you pictured them!
Thanks for sharing the way you made these pictures!
