Wow Tom, I love the color on this guy!

I actually think I've seen this guy before, but did not pay much attention to it. Your photo has given me an opportunity to add this one to my wish list...maybe I'll find one at the Redlands Festival.

How big are the flowers and the plant? Thanks!

The flower of my clone is about 1.75-2". The canes on my plant are about 20" long.
If you grow this species under cooler temperature, you will have much deeper blue flowers.

Here is another photo:

ooh, love the color. I have a baby one with about a 4 inch cane but I think it has a nubbin of a bud on it.

I'd totally try this species, but I don't think it would really appreciate the warm conditions I have. Awesome color.

Thanks for sharing, I love this orchid! It's been on the wishlist for a long time, but I'm having trouble finding a not too expensive one.

Y'all have some nice blooms there!!!

I have one of these guys. it is fairly mature. when i bought it it had evidence of having bloomed. Currently it is growing new canes, branching off the older canes...
I dont believe it needs any sort of winter rest, but
I am probably growing it too warm.
