Default Dendrobium wattii

Den. wattii--It is an intermediate or cool grower. It blooms in late Sept or Oct for me and the flowers are long lasting.

Sounds like it would grow well in this climate. I love the flowers! Thanks for sharing.

WOW this plant is simply outstanding. Yours doesn't look too similar to the wattii on the iospe...is it possible that it may be a hybrid? Either way, it's MUCH more beautiful than any wattii I've ever seen. Gorgeous and impressive growing too.

No fragrance. The photo was taken back in Sept or Oct 2008 and the flowers lasted for about 2 months.

That's a real beauty! I can't really do cool growers though. I have a couple... they're alive and growing, but not doing great

It is a species, Calvin. If you google, you will find few more photos of this species that look like mine.
