Not sure what's goin' on or what type
This Noid Dendrobium was purchased from a local flea market a few years ago. It has only produced 1 new bloom near the tip since being under my care. The plant threw out a sturdy stout cane last season and now the cane is producing a growth a few leaflets down from the tip. It's growing rapidly and I'm not sure if it's a keiki or a bloom spike. The plant has not begun developing new canes yet. All along I thought this was a Phal. type Dend. but now I'm just not sure. The canes are much plumper than my other Phal types and the first green and purple bloom was beautiful, but looked different than what I'm accustomed to seeing on my Phal type plants. I'm wondering if it could be a Nobile or something else??? It was watered weekly throughout the winter and has never experienced a rest period. I almost forgot to mention that it did have a small growth emerging from another one of it's mature canes but that one got damaged by another plant landing on it during a recent windy day. That growth has since perished. Here are some photos. Any suggestions???
