Dendrobium primulinum
The plant came from Vietnam and has relative short canes. It grows happily but seems to have few flowers in my growing area.

How short are your canes? My primulinum (polyanthum) canes are 3 feet long
I wish the blooms would last longer.

The cane is about 6" long. I also have the longer one but has finished blooming.

Are you saying there are two different types? This is mine, it just quit blooming this week and is now growing next year's canes.

Your is Dendrobium primulinum, too. It's a variety from Vietnam and Laos.
