Default Dendrobium Banana Royal

This miniature dendrobium is a cross between Den. Liholiho (named for a Hawaiian king) and Den. canaliculatum, a very nice Australian species. It is growing in a 2 1/2" pot and hangs with the vandas. The root system is massive for such a small plant. The longest cane is about eight inches and the flower is two inches. The perfume is delectable.

Looks great, Jerry!

I have this one and for some reason, it was very unhappy last year. I don't know what changed but it's suddenly looking a little better...maybe there's hope!

Thanks for sharing yours, it was a nice reminder

VERY nice, Jerry! It's gorgeous!

It looks very similar to Dendrobium Pixie Princess (photo below), which also has a fabulous fragrance. Do you think they have similar parentages??
