Great mount job Flhiker!!! One note though, these grow like weeds so it will quickly overtake your mount!!! Get ready!!! LOL...

I've had mine for two years - bought it in bloom as a gift, but it was returned when the blooms died out and they thought the plant was near dead. I nurtured it back to health and this year have been rewarded with it being big enough to take a division of it and the original plant has three large spikes with about 15 total flowers on it.

I've read a lot of about these and they tend to be very rare. A lot of people also seem to have issues getting them to bloom - but no one seems to ahve issues getting them to grow, lol...

Enjoy it!!!

You have a very nice plant.

I bought one a few years ago. It now blooms several months a year.

Thanks everyone but those blooms are from 09. I still have this plant mounted and it has filled the mount and looks great. No signs of spikes this year. last year it only had 3 flowers total. I moved it to a new area and I guess it sulked.
