Ok, so you're going to have to squint your eyes and hold your head just right to see them but here are 2 of the 5 spikes in all their minute glory. The spikes should be in the center of the picture. I don't have Photoshop so I couldn't circle them for you.

How could you do that!!! It's amazing! I bought them last summer and they seem to be mature in size but no bloom yet....disappointed.
Congratulation on yours.!!!
Thanks Vinh! I gave it a much drier rest this year than last year. That seems to be what triggers blooms. The spikes are getting longer daily. I'm not sure how much longer I'll have to wait but I'm kind of hoping it waits until our society has it's annual show in April. I'd love to enter it.
It was touch and go for awhile but the plant finally presented me with 3 flowers. It started with 5 spikes, 3 of which blasted. Of the 2 remaining sp[ikes one blasted a bud. This is a tricky little one! The flowers are tiny, only about the size of a nickle.

I agree mine has blasted a spike or two and was wondering how many others will blast. I have one bud that looks like it may be close to opening but the color is a pale green, is that how your looked just before opening?
