Default Dendrobium anceps

Last summer while buying some Bulbo's from a grower, I noticed this huge anceps hanging in a dark corner. The grower was selling single growths and I said, eh...why not?

It's just now beginning to branch out with other growths so I easily overlooked the blooming taking place. The blooms typically occur on the back side of the plant with an occasional few, in front. Does well in both, low or high light.

Pics 3 & 4 - back

Note: front can be back and back can be front....it depends on one's objectivity or perception!

Very quaint looking flowers. Is the plant hanging upside down?

I have one that is not looking so good, it is dying. Did you water it during the winter? Thanks.

Well, that too depends on one's perception, sarahrm. I've seen these potted up and the much larger ones, hanging. So, if you prefer it potted then, yes, it's upside down and visa versa!

I've slowed down just a little with the watering but, I let the weather dictate how often. It's beginning to warm up here so it's getting wet every other day now.

Dana, when are you getting your mini-market up and running? I want some mini's!!!!
