Default Den Culture Question

Greetings everyone. I have a dendrobium that for one reason or another (me) refuses to bloom. I've been treating it as a nobile type mainly because it looks like one. Here is the name that's on the tag: Den. mohlianum x Den. sulawesiense. As usual, any and all suggestions from all you "pros" will be greatly welcomed with open arms. Thank you.

Hi Donald

This should be a gorgeous chid when you get it to bloom! I just LOVE mohlianum!!!

According to Orchidwiz, neither of these species call for a winter rest, growing conditions should be maintained year round.

Give it low light (the sulawesiense calls for Phal light while the mohlianum calls for a little more than that), temps in the low 80s for day and low 70s at night should work fine and they both like very high humidity, 80-90%.

because of the growth habit, it's best to mount this one but that means extra work in trying to keep those humidity rates up.

So...don't treat this one as a nobile...start watering/feeding it and you should be back on track
