Dendrobium chrysanthum. The color reminds me of some of my pansies.

Thanks Mauro. It sounds like I may need to water it more in the off season, and add some moss to the mix but otherwise I'm in line with what you have. It hasn't bloomed yet but I think it is young as it has a 6" , 12" and now, the 4' long cane. It's been tough getting the pot, and plant, to not fall over all the time. The cane tends to arch out of the pot such that the end wants to touch the ground. I had to add a 3' long stiff wire support attached to the pot to keep it upright.
Thanks for the feedback - looks like I'm headed in the right direction. Happy Growing!

Yes, the canes tend to arch out. My pot is hanging and because of this habit it stands in an almost horizontal position

Mauro - how do you grow yours? Mine is still in a pot and the latest cane is 4' long! I'm thinking a basket would be best for it but I am unsure of what size to use. Any insight into your growing culture and methods would be appreciated!
