Default Anatomy of a blooming Den. nobile plant.

Here is a photo taken today, of my Dendrobium Spring Dream 'Kumiko', that explains which canes bloom in the nobile, soft cane or deciduous dendrobium.
I get many questions about leafless cane, yellowing leaves, old canes-- a visual always helps me, I hope this helps someone who is new to raising them.

These flowers will last 3 weeks or more if kept cool.

This flower is very delicate in coloring--white with just hint of pink in the ruffled edges of the petals and lip--and in texture. Will post a pic in full bloom soon. For now this is what we have:
