Which vendor has the largest assortment while also maintaining quality plants? I'm looking for a few hard to find species for a friend who has been into dendrobiums forever...

H&R (http://hrnurseries.com/), Tropical Orchid Farm (Tropical Orchid Farm) and Exotic Orchids of Maui (Exotic Orchids of Maui - Home) all have highly unusual species Dend and H&R's specialty is Latouriate hybrids, though they too have some really cool species. The quality from these nurseries is out-freakin-standing.

Steve, is this term in Websters? I've never heard this term used with orchids before. I've heard it used at, and for, parties. But orchids? Can't quite picture this one!

Actually, the term used at parties is somewhat different, with the middle part of the phrase being edited for our OB viewers!!

Back on topic....I agree with Steve that H&R has awesome Latourias, and some interesting Formosaes as well. I sure wish someone in the states would start carrying some of the Aussie hybrids under $100.
