Terri! That one is awesome!! So beautiful! Great growing - and thanks for sharing! Its not one that I can grow here (need to stick to the ones that like it cool), so I'm enjoying this one vicariously through you!

Holy Cow! I nearly fell off my chair! That is absolutely stunning! I need one!!! WOW! I can't believe how interesting this flower is, and that I haven't ever seen it before. I will definitely be adding to the wish list. Thanks for sharing this beauty!

Thanks everyone! I remember when Steve posted a picture of his last year it was one of those "OMG! I have to have it" moments. They are busy little plants. It's always growing something.

Dana about the only thing this guy doesn't like is to dry out during active growth and very warm temps. I was watering it 2-3 times a week during the summer. You could amost hear it making a sucking sound.

Steve I haven't detected any scent in mine. Any particular time of day you notice it most? Could be my smeller too!

As I recall, it was most 'scentiferous' in the middle part of the day when the sun was on the flowers. With as many spikes as you have, Im sure you will be able to smell it at some point!
