Smile Mini Nobile Finally Blooms!!!

Finally It blooms!!! the flower is maybe an inch maybe 2 1/2 inches across with a super sweet vanilla Rose with a touch of honey fragrance! really delicious! there will be about 18 other flowers soon minus the flower that is open now! It was just this one node that produced one flower! all the others are producing two! its funny because the camera cannot capture the true pink purple color so in the photos the flowers are blue! only one photo caught the true bright pink color but its a little blurry. Im having difficulty with the upload so here is the link. Sorry!!!! Thanks in advance for looking!!!!!!

Catt, I use Photobucket also to insert my picsand have never had a problem. Once you have uploaded the pic to Photobucket and saved it there, you will see under each uploaded pic 4 choices. The last one is the one you want to highlight and "left" click. Then come back to your posting and wherever you want to insert your pic just "right" click and the link (hypertext not the pic) should appear. When you "post quick reply" the pic will show.

It's a lovely Den! From the last pic it does seem like a nice bright pink color. The other bloom pics turned out very purple, and remind me a bit of the ones on Dendrobium victoriae-reginae. Looks like you also have a lot of other buds on the way!
It's funny that I have the opposite problem with my camera. The pinks turn out fine, but I have so much trouble with the blues!

It looks a little like Den. Mingle's Sapphire which has victoriae-reginae as a parent. Very nice, whatever it is! Congratulations.
