How short-lived are we talking for this species? Just curious. It is quite beautiful, Mauro. And the plant would even look attractive out of bloom.

Excellent capture of this beauty!
I have been trying to get a photo of mine now for about a year and a half...without success. ![Sad](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif) I appreciate that you've shared this with us. ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)

Wow, Mauro, and I thought stanhopeas had short-lived blooms! The insect pollinators for this species must be quite attentive when the plant is in flower.

Did yours smell funny? Mine smelled really funny and I had to put them in another room because I didn't like it. I applaud you on your picture taking abilities because it took me forever to take one decent picture. Very beautiful.

Mine had a decent fragrance... not especially remarkable, but also not unpleasant!
