Totally confused here and I know someone will be able to shed a little light, my way.
I went to the orchid show in Delray today and left with a Dendrobium dearie. The vendor told me to keep this is low light ("Phal light is perfect", he said), to keep the plant moist and depending how cool it's kept, might or might not, lose it's leaves and either way, will bud/bloom beginning in February. I got home and did a search and
Dendrobium anosmum "dearie" is all I found.
So........................
Is this one in the same? And if so, the culture tips given, totally confuse me because I keep my anosmum, dry this time of year. The pic of the flowers (on the display table) were pure white. Is anosmum and dearie, different or the same and, wrong growing advice given?
I plead total ignorance. Thanks for your help, here.
