Default Den. christyanum

This one is real cute and small...second blooming this year (last time in may) with lots of huge flowers on a small plant (only 4-5" tall). They smell really strong...almost like creamy lemon pie The flowers last for ages, and it's not too finicky. I have it under lights (intermediate, bordering on high light), evenly moist. Hope you enjoy and feel inspired to try growing this guy.

Ooh... it looks like the center of a 'Cadbury Cream Egg'!

Maybe you don't get that else where in the world.
It's a chocolate egg which has a creamy sweet fondant filling which is white and yellow just like that flower.

It's my favorite sweet at Easter and I absolutly love this flower.

Rosie, we do get those here along with the caramel filled ones. I love them, and given the opportunity will eat them til I'm sick!

Now that you mention it, it does look like a cadbury cream egg! And they do exist in the USA. I stuffed myself with them when I was a little kid, they were one of my favorite easter bunny chocolates. I loved the commercial with the cadbury bunny who clucked like a chicken! Shame I can't find any in France or holland, they were sinfully good!

Thanks everyone for the comments Terri - yes very good observation. I am a big fan of the white+red/orange combination that's common in the formosae dends

I love cadbury cream eggs...so many good things combined into one package.
