OY...I know I'm in trouble hanging around with all of you but....you're mind kind of people!
I know absolutely nothing, nadda about these so, for beginners, I'll start out with one but which one? My biggest issue is space so is there one in the following list, more compact than the rest?

Tango sounds interesting but what do I know?

Standing by, waiting to hear what you think.

Eenie, meenie, miney, moe....

Matsushima
Matsushima Sekkoku
Misuzu
Miyakohime
Nakabu
Osafume
Shishimaru
Tango
Toshakane

If you're growing these for the flowers and don't care so much about the foliage, then I vote for Miyakohime.

You know, I think I would choose these two:

Benikomachi (my first choice): Leaves streaked with cream, yellow or pink centrally, white flowers with red on lip. New pseudobulbs bright yellow.

Kurobotan: (my second choice) Black Peony - yellow streaks and green on heavy, wide leaves. 5"

And these three as traveling companions!

Yuten: Round green leaves with red and white streaks.

Tennyokan: Heavenly Maiden - Cream to lime-green centrally. 4"

Gokokinagashi: Beautiful golden-yellow & dark green leaf combo. 4"

Sandy, you must be getting gmdiaz confused with another member whose username also starts with a "g" I believe. gmdiaz is Gwen.

Unless.....Gwen, is there, uh, something you're not telling me, umm. hmm?

YEPPERS Gwen, I was thinking Jasen, probably because I was expecting this from him. So..now I'm left out to dry by you too? I'll probably cave and buy more than one....I feel it coming, the bill that is!

Sorry about the mixup! Hmmm, and you look nothing like Jasen...
