Dend will grow in any temperature, any light and any kind of watering and feeding, but high in N will prevent continuous blooms (never use high N ratio). If you are wanting it to bloom to its fullest potential, its essential you grow in cool temps (min. night autumn/winter below 50F), bring the plant in in Nov when the home is cooler and withhold on your watering until you see buds starting which should be about 8 weeks, give or take. Water normally at that time of sighting and start a fert program after flowers are open. I have a dend that has done nothing but produce keiki's as well, sweet happening but it would be nice to get the dend to bloom, so this blooming season we will see...
I think your doing it right to keep it on the cool side acclimate it back indoors in Nov and see what happens. It's worth the challenge. gl
