Dendrobium pachyphyllum
I bought this one earlier this year and had no idea what to expect... Cute little flower, though it only lasts one day!

Nice. Mine bloomed just last week too. Went to take a photo the next day, and it was done. Got mine from the OB classifieds.

I love it! How big does the plant size get, is it a mini by any chance?

Why yes in fact I would consider it a mini. It is in a tree fern pot and is jammed full, but still the whole thing fits in a basic 3-4 inch area!

Hey Kiki,
Yup, it bloomed for me. I didn't get it to bloom, I think it was just the Texas weather. I just stuck it in a good spot and nature did the rest. I think mine was a little darker.
I had no idea the flowers were so short lived, but the developing buds were cool looking too. I really wanted a photo of the blooms (got one of the buds). I guess they're kind of like D. crumenatum in that they are triggered by a drop in temperature, but only last a day. And yes, I detected a light but very nice fragrance.
