Have a Dendrobium I would like to get some more information about. The tag reads: DEM. TCS. 868. A google search found that TCS is short for "thin cross section(TCS)" a culture method for rapid micropropagation of Dendrobium nobile lindl. (Orchidaceae). So I'm guessing this is a mass produced plant, #868, from a lab.

You might be right on this ..
Do you know the vendor of the plant ..perhaps you can get more info from them ?
