Don, the species likes remarkable day-night temperature difference all year round.
Here in Taiwan, the lowland summer and autumn night is too hot for it to develop good pseudobulbs and then growth and blooming is retarded. And also due to this reason, we seldom grow large-flowered cymbudiums if we lives in lowlands.
