New growth on Dend?

I have a Dend that is doing quite well, with three new canes growing from the bottom of two of the old canes.
I today i noticed two new, little green "nubbins" from the smalest "old" cane(I bought the plant with three canes of different sice). This cane is only about 2-3 cm, and has only two small leafs. The new growth is still to small to be taken any pics of, but its growing out about 1/2-1 cm up on the cane.
Does anybody have a clue about what this is? I know the flower-spike is growing from the top on this one, and the canes from the bottom, as i would belive the roots would to...
What could be growing out from this position?

You might be getting a keiki on it. I get them on many of my hard cane Dens. Let it grow and then show us a picture so we can check it out
